Plastic Camera Studio
Charity Art Sale to benefit the
Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter
April 8th and 9th
with an opening reception the evening
of April 7th, 2006
What an absolute fantastic event. What an absolute fantastic feeling that we created an event that will make a difference to someone, or more than one person.
Plastic Camera Studio, along with all the artists involved, were able to reach a total sale amount of
$1,945.00 for the three days. A little over 50% will be donated to the Nashua Soup Kitchen, along with a very large non-perishable food donation as well.

Now comes the hard part of breaking the exhibit down, sorting out funds, issuing payment to the artists, arranging times for the buyers to pick the work up, etc. But its all worth it. I didn't imagine we'd make as much as we did considering this was the first time Sara or I tried to arrange something like this.
I'd like to thank all the artists who took the time to donate pieces for the sale - regardless if they sold or not. I'm sad that everything didn't sell, but they helped fill the exhibit and really keep people in the gallery looking. I'm really proud of each and every person that took the time to bring us work at the studio.
So, for them: Thank you. You enriched this event. Thank you thank you thank you.
I'm off for a few days to bring the studio back to the way it was. I've had lots of possible clients call in the last week, which I didn't expect. Things are really starting to go well.
I hope you are all doing well. I hope the warm weather produces artistic thoughts.
See you soon,
Sid
